The Syair Opera

Hello....



On Thursday, 16 of July, something funny happened in our class during BM lesson. Our BM teacher, Puan Rohani had selected a few lucky ones to present the ' Syair Ken Tambuhan' by reading it aloud. At first, Jaslin was chosen to present the syair. As she started to sing, her tone went insanely outrageous and could even break a glass . So, everyone in the class including our BM teacher, Puan Rohani was laughing like hell especially Liang Kai Yi. Jaslin was still blur eventhough everyone was laughing at her.
After all the hilarious laugh, Pn Rohani stopped us from laughing and warned us not to laugh or else the person who laughs will have to sing the syair after Jaslin's turn. So, everyone kept quiet for a while. As Jaslin started to sing again, her tone went even higher than the previous one. Everyone was forcing themselves not to laugh and covered their face with their books while Puan Rohani was laughing like hell. It was too difficult for us to keep our mouth shut. All of a sudden everyone burst out with a big, BIG laugh. Finally, Puan Rohani couldn't stand it anymore and stopped Jaslin from singing and asked her to choose someone to replace her. Without a second thought, Jaslin chose Yashwini as her victim. So Yashwini was forced to present the syair. Then, everything went back to normal.

Sorry for the long break, we Heroneses were on a hiatus.
Okay, maybe some of us are STILL on a hiatus.
Never mind that. =P


So.. We had the open day yesterday.
It was pretty okay. ^^
There were some lucky Heroneses whose parents did not talk to Puan Rohani (..for she'll only give a 5% of positive comments, I bet.)
Well, she came in pretty late, about an hour after recess?
The results were quite satisfying although we didn't beat the Hornbillians. We didn't really bother that. =)
Let it be.. :D

I was commented as the talkative one. (I pretty much expected it already!)
So was Yash.
TAN was commented as the QUIET one. (which is amazingly unbelievable. and in a way, UNFAIR.she makes as much noise as I do, really.)
Liang Kai Yi was jubilant for the teacher did not give any bad comments on her.

On the 18th of June 2009, at about four o'clock in the evening, in the one and only 1 Heron which is located in the very heart of MGS, Ipoh, there was a farewell party. =)


Around 1 o'clock, during the Maths period, we made confetti out of colored papers. Stuffed it all into Tan's file and WOW, it was a humongous heap!

During arts, after a few seconds the teacher left, Kai Yi presented the sumptuous chocolate cake Li Ann and Lavina baked while the others threw the confetti we made to the teacher. wheee wheee wheee.

Later on, after the cake went into the tummies of everybody, KaiYi asked for the teacher's email. In order to get it, she performed a randomLALAspontaneousdance. -.-"


That was pretty much of how it went..
Well during the lessons..
There were lots lots lots of hysterical laughter. =)
Even passersby stared at us. =D

Teacher's Day

Hello! It's Kar Huey here posting for the first and only time.

We didn't even get to celebrate this year teacher's day. Why? Because of the mid year test. Blahhh.... Then the ministry of education don't let us celebrate on another day.. not sympathetic at all.. EVIL..
Then? Our school organized an extremely boring activity called ' Telematch', held at our school field as a replacement for the Teacher's Day celebration. But it only took about 45 minutes for the game to finish. And i saw people yawning, walking everywhere and none of them were interested to watch the game.
That's all..I hope that I won't ruin our class blog. I am very sorry if there's any grammar errors.. Bye!!

MAKING CARDS!

Hello Peeps!

Here's my first time blogging here although I've visited this blog soooo many times. xD
Finally found something to blog on.

I'll start with the photography session which was held yesterday. Our class was the 3rd to take? Ahh.. I forget. Amy and Kar Yee had to change into their school uniforms to take the class photo because they were in their pj attire before that as they're going for a netball competition later in the afternoon. Class AJKs such as the monitor, assistant monitor, treasurer, secretary and the MBI person had to sit in the front row together with the librarians. AND THE SUN WAS SHINING SO BRIGHTLY I COULDN'T OPEN MY EYES! Okay, EVERYONE couldn't open their eyes. Right?

Today;

Event: Making cards for the teachers
People Involved: Me xP, Viann, Kar Yee, Yan Yee, Kai Yi, Kar Huey, Cheralyn



It started with Kai Yi making cards for the teachers and let the whole Heron class sign. And then, me and Kar Yee joined in the making cards thing. We actually wanted to make cards for Miss Tham, Miss Sawaran and Puan Mahnum only. Then when we went to collect the signatures, Viann suggested that we remake the cards and make more cards for the other teachers as well. So we started remaking the cards and Yan Yee joined in. We were doing it halfway and time for recess. We continued doing after recess. Cheralyn went and asked me whether do we need more colour papers and I said we need. So, I gave her RM1 from the class fund and she went down to the bookshop and bought some colour papers. RM0.20 was left. xP MAKE and MAKE and MAKE the cards. Kar Huey made one for Puan Rahaya.=P THE TABLE WAS A WHOLE MESS! Yan Yee even said that we could be the 'Express Card Makers'! Haha. Cheralyn went around the class getting signature's from everyone. And guess what, Yan Yee made Pn. Nantha's card 'terbalik'! Viann accidentaly wrote Miss on one card and it was actually for Cik Puteri. So, I said ' Just write Miss Puteri lah!' It sounds weird though. Lol. We didn't care about it as we're running out of time. At last, 9 cards were made. For Puan Rahaya, Puan Yin, Miss Sawaran, Cik Puteri, Cik Noorhana, Miss Tham, Puan Nantha, Puan Mahnum and Puan Rohani. Distributed the cards before the telematch starts.

I'll not blog about the telematch as not much happened. Today's a fun day I can say! =D

Hello ;

Like what Cheralyn mentioned, exam's are finally over! This also in a way means our papers are reaching are hands. We got back our Civics, Maths and English(objective part) papers yesterday. As usual, there are some with smiles plastered and also some with long sulks. The others remained neutral. Since it is already over, there is nothing much to be done.


2 free periods yesterday! Ms. Tham was absent.

Regarding the T-shirt thing, we have already informed everyone in the class.. We also asked everyone to contribute a quote and a design and we'll try to combine the best designs and the best quotes. I hope this is going to work.. :) We are gonna put in our blog URL and email on the T-shirt as well.. OUR PASSWORD? You wish. :P

Test...

Hey, Cheralyn here again

So... from the 15 to the 22 of May,all the form 1's had their exams including 1 Heron.Well, it was one tough exam and most of us struggled on to do the best of our ability. I'm also sure everyone has that feeling of nervousness,eager and partially scared during the test. Its normal to have that feeling because this is where we will be tested to the core what we have learned for that half a year we spent in 1 Heron MGS.This exam will also determine where we will be placed next year and all of us will want to stay back in Heron.Well, all the best I wish to all my classmates to get good results...

Hello. Viann here for the I don't know how many-th time. :P

So yesterday, as Miss Swaran was absent, we had a substitute teacher whom threatens non-stop with the demerit system. Anyway, it was a free period so Cheralyn and I wrote a note regarding the MSN account and our blog and passed it to everyone. So.. most probably every single Heronese knows about it already, AWESOME ! :D

I totally agree with the T-shirt making thing. Oh well, we do need to encounter quite a number of problems but I guess it will be worth it. :)

Regarding the what-happened-in-school thing, I guess there is nothing much. We had 3 free periods yesterday! AWESOMENESS! ;)

Its inexperienced Cheralyn posting for the 1st time..

Actually Lavina gave me the idea,of making a class t-shirt.I was just wondering if we could make it?? It would cost money and volunteers would be needed including Li Ann,Lavina,Amy,Viann and myself so if you're interested please inform me.Planning,time and creativity would also be needed and I was wondering if we could finish it before star walk so that we could wear it during that day with our mgs shorts to prove our loyalty.Anyway, its just a suggestion so tell me what you think..

Anyway, not all the Heroneses know about this blog. Some of them don't even know what's a blog.. A handful of them don't have Internet connections at home. So, it might be hard to have all the 1 Heroneses to even visit the blog. We need to try our very best to make them all blog. :D

Oh yeah, shall we like..jot down everything funny or weird or trival that happens in our class and then post it here? =)

Do you all actually mind if I edit some stuffs? For example, the about me section and all. Oh, by the way, just an opinion... Can that poll be removed? It's rather offensive and not really... fit to be in the blog.

No offense, but I really do think the posts should only contain proper English. This doesn't mean sophisticated words must be used, just proper English is enough. This is just another opinion, I hope it doesn't offend. =)
